Drupal Design
One of Drupal's strengths is the ability for designers to change its appearance. Using Drupal gives us a strong starting point in design, while still allowing us to modify the site to fit the needs of our clients. Drupal can accommodate any design that our team, and our clients, can come up with.
Planning and Brainstorming
We understand that every project is unique and that design is a subjective art. Design elements that we like might not look as good in your eyes. Because of this, we open a dialogue with clients before any design work begins to learn the primary requirements and goals of the project, and to prepare a short design spec. Our design partners will use this document to brainstorm and develop ideas for your team to review.
Iterative Process
After you review the initial designs presented to you, we will discuss each one to find which elements you like and which you dislike. From here, we refine the design spec and choose a primary design to follow as development moves forward. This process of refinement and discussion continues until you are happy with the design.
Implementation
When you and your team are completely satisfied with the design we have, our developers begin converting the design from a image into an XHTML/CSS Drupal website. We use fully-compliant XHTML Transitional code to maximize accessibility and search engine ranking. Drupal offers powerful theming techniques so our developers never have to hack your installation to implement a design. This makes Drupal more maintainable, more extensible, and more open to future modifications.
